Hope you're all enjoying the sun, I'm loving it more than life right now it is absolutely b e a u t i f u l! I've just finished my internship at a pr&marketing company and now I have one more week in Cardiff to chill before I get back to Birmingham and start some more work & work experience! So basically fingers crossed that mr sun doesn't decide to fuck off! Today I've been chilling with Ryan x2 and Eira, we went on a massive road trip blasting A Day To Remember and chilled out on a few beaches which was really nice considering Birmingham doesn't have that beach life to offer. We've just finished our cute BBQ and now they're all watching football and I cannot cope with that nonsense so I've turned to my mac to create a cheeky little lust list for you guys to lurk on! Everything on here is absolutely perfect for sunny days, I know you're probably thinking how is a jumper ideal? Don't worry, I've thought this through! Number one, it's Kenzo, number two it is perrrfeeeccctooo for late nights in the sun!

S T R I P E S & S U N S H I N E

So for the whole of last week I was trapped in the library cramming in two deadlines that were due last Friday. There was so much work to do that I was in the library for 24 hours straight, which was the biggest fucking nightmare ever. Never again! So this weekend I've treated myself to a lazy weekend to catch up on very much needed sleep, a few drinks, retail therapy and loads of grub! I don't even feel guilty, I think I have deserved it after the week from hell! 

Todays OOTD has been quite casual because plans were extremely last minute. The weather has been pretty hit and miss lately which I guess we can all agree on is annoying! All I want is silly amounts of sun please! But today I thought it would be a great chance to whack out my mom jeans and a striped cami top. These jeans are ridiculously comfortable and as soon as I spotted them for £4 in a charity shop yesterday I could not resist. This is quite a big step for a girl like me, I live in skinny jeans and feel so frumpy when I wear anything else! But these fit so well, it is safe to say that I'm in love! I thought popping on my chunky boots would dress up this outfit a little bit for lunch, and teamed them up with some white frilly socks so the frill could sneakily peak through the top. I'm a huge fan of frilly socks! The mini backpack is something that I had been trying to get my claws into for ages, they look super cute and perfect for day trips!

Jewellery wise I opted for a gold chunky chain, I fucking love this chain its brill and dresses up literally anything! I'm also wearing a golden cuff bracelet on the top of my arm with a few spikes on it to toughen the look up a bit and silly amounts of rings which is the norm for me! Red lipstick is something that I cannot and never will get enough of, and when MAC were offering 2 lipsticks for £20 the other day I knew it would be the biggest mistake if I didn't invest. MAC lipstick will always have a place in my heart, forever and ever I promise (I love you MAC)! To top it off and add a bit more colour (something I'm not great at usually doing) I popped a scarf on my head which was a bit of material that I got from a charity shop for £1. It is so beautiful and has so many colours to die for and perfect when my hair is being a pain in the arse!

Sneak Peak

Heres a little sneak peak to the outfit that I am wearing to my University ball tomorrow night! I'm not the sort of girl who enjoys dressing up so it's been quite tough for me to pick something to wear, on a night out you will find me literally wearing what I wear through out the day. I just find getting ready boring ugh. So I guess in some ways shopping for the ball has been slightly exciting for me, because it's something I'm not used to! I opted for this red dress from Motel which is beautiful. I've never worn red so it's quite daring of me to do so, so hopefully it doesn't look absolutely stupid on me! I'm a huge huge fan of Motel. I've gone for a pair of chunky heels which is a huge swap for my usual Dr Martens. The balls starting at 7 and we're going out after so I thought a chunkier heel would be comfortable for after ball antics. To clash up with the colours I've decided to go for a Jimmy Choo bag in beige, it works so well with the red and gives a more feminine touch to my outfit. I'm going to paint my nails red which is nothing new, I LOVE red nails. And my good old Mac Lipstick is defo going to make a showing, how sassy of me?

So exams have finished, I am finally free! Well I say I'm finally free, but with Uni  starting again on Tuesday I don't know how much free time I will actually be having. So I guess you have a few days of me posting because I have so much spare time. 

This outfit set I created is literally me just missing Summer and hopelessly planning clothes that are more than ideal. Awkward how I'm saying these clothes are ideal for Summer, when it consists of dark  colours, but even in Summer I cannot drag myself away! Everything here is from Topshop, apart from the Mac Cosmetics. I'm a big sucker when it comes to both Mac and Topshop, just take a look at the cute little pastel blue satchel and you can understand why! The colour pallet is so odd but yet okay, I just want Summer to hurry on up now so I can mess around with pallets like this!
